Hello
I had too much work to write this AAR before, but we had several games last week. LeManchou himself was here in France, and played with us ( He's the French overall officer)

Great report and nice to see LeManchou again! :)

Three games in a go, exhausting!

Entertaining stuff, as always, Ronan. Armoured cars v. Panzer IVs - ouch!  :(
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Yes... May be we'll see S35 coming one day...  I hope so  ;)

Ronan,

Good stuff man, keep it up, though I'm partial to the solo reports  :D

It looked like the French commander had a rough time in the second game during the Patrol Phase, the the four patrol markers formed a box, kind of outflanked by the Germans from the start.  I also thought it was really funny about the French commanders somehow not selecting any anti-tank weapons, even though they knew they would see those Panzer IV's again!

Take care!

Well, to my defense, I didn't have enough support point to take good tanks and I don't believe in AT guns in attack so I chose 2 81mm mortars and one extra infantry squad instead. My plan was to smoke the tanks while I take care of the infantry. It didn't work as we didn't have the opportunity to use the mortars so I decided to withdraw.

Le Manchou,

Don't worry, you don't have to explain to me, I make much worse decisions than that!  I don't know if you've seen any of my battle reports, but I love to charge into close combat, so my tactical decision would have been to take extra infantry squads and have them charge the tanks!  ;D ;D ;D

I hope you guys had fun.  I really like Chain of Command, and I've enjoyed reading those battle reports and the ones for the Spanish Civil War.

Jack
