Have fun Leon

I hear caravaning in the Brecon Beacons is lovely this time of year

My Mum's birthday there could have gone better.  They went 1st week of June (3 weeks ago) and my Dad had a heart attack.  Spent 5 days in Swansea hospital (Had an air ambulance and everything)

He's ok (back to being a silly old fool, just a bit weaker at the moment), but had to leave the caravan there, until he's well enough to drive long distance.

If you're going Leon, you couldn't bring it back and drop it off in North Herts could you?  Use the normal method for dealing with orders- should be there by yesterday!

(Please- No US style sympathy posts!)

I think its particularly selfish of Leon not to take the recently patented 'Cruickshanks portable spin casting machine' according to the blurb can be run off coal or a car cigerette lighter
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

The fifty-six pounds of casting metal was impounded by customs at the airport.  :o

... but surely that was a bluff! The roof of his car is casting metal. He will leave the country in a normal Rolls Royce, and return with a cabriolet with the boot stuffed with Pendraken Goodliness.  He got the idea from Goldfinger.

In fact (shhh!) he told me the whole week is just so he can get some time to make up a special batch of Centurions that will be just for me. He said that he was ging to a special magical place where the Focii of Casting will come into alignment at a certain time. He could not reveal the place nor time for fear of rousing the wrath of the dark Casting gods, who haunt the shadows and delight in the fire, but has promised that castings made at this place at this time would be triple blessed: They would be pure and unsullied by flash or blemish; they would take and hold paint and never chip and they would be forever lucky. He needed to have with him three totems for this great conjuration to be most powerful. Firstly, he would need One who has been untouched by the Dark ones, an innocent unaware of the mystic arts, whose hands had never been mottled in Citadel colours. Secondly, he would need a brew of raw power for libation. One that would make the head spin and the senses become disjointed and the memory untrustworthy (he was taking a bottle of cheap cider). Thirdly, he was taking the offering most beloved by the Dark ones, the mystical power that he called "AKon Efcheeps".

From this and by combining his own sweat he said he would produce something magical, an experience that would sere his soul and, he said would leave him drained.

I think we should all be greateful to Leon for indulging in these dark acts, and putting his health and his sanity at risk in this way.
