We made them cardboard swords and shields as well, but I forgot to take a pic of them using them.  They didn't last long to be fair, the youngest broke his on the eldests head...

I am surprised that someone like McDonalds haven't thought of this for their burger places..It would be a great selling point

Are you going to be bringing it to shows...You could be pioneers in the wargaming world and set up a Creche so people could look round the stalls in peace
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

We already have a creche - it's called "a fantasy participation game".  :D
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Actually, that wasn't intended to be as snide as it sounded. I've heard several people who have run participation games at conventions grumbling that people dump their offspring on such games so that they, the parents, can wander off and do their own thing. And fantasy seems to be the genre that holds the kids' attention the longest.

Hi Leon

1 flaw in your castle it is very vunerable to water!!!!!!!!! : ) ;D ;D

I only know this because the English tried carboard castles in Wales in the 11th Century but switched to stone very quickly after 10 minutes in Wales

I must admit to doing something similar on the occasions the eldest has come to the shows with us.   :-[

It's also vulnerable to overactive kids who try and run through the walls...  :D

Just how much stationery are you having delivered?
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

It was Jiffy bags, so they come in massive boxes, each containing 2 or 3 smaller boxes of Jiffy's.
