Falkland's aircraft?

As mentioned in another thread, we won't be getting the aircraft designed for the Falkland's range, as the costs involved unfortunately outweigh the potential sales.  So, we're going to look at some of the kits already on the market, and where possible, buy some in to add to the website.

So, if anyone knows of any useful kits, pop them up here, and we'll build up a bit of a resource ready for the launch of the range.

Two out of scale sets-
Airfix have just rereleased their A4- q skyhawk in Argentine colours.
Their Seaharrier remains a best seller too!
Tumbling Dice 1:600 are beautiful and some of the nicest figures to paint up on the market.
Small, but them aircraft are a long way up!

Revell Germany have an interesting range of modern 144th scale planes. Most of them are pre-painted snap-together models.

Corgi also do die-cast Vulcans and Victors in that scale - but they're pricey.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Found this site which appears to be in US selling 1/144th kits in resin of the Pucara and Super Etendard. They look good but dont have any experience of ordering from them.

Might be a bit pricey from the US?

From that site the T-34 Mentor is useful, along with as said, Pucara and Super Etendard.  Argentines also used UH-1s which Pendraken cover already. Minicarft do aC-130 in 1/144 though usually USAF or USN markings.  http://kampfgruppe144.blogspot.co.uk/2009/01/1144-amodel-c-130.html

Platz do a 1/144 A-4, although I dont think the Argentines had the avionics 'hump' portrayed in the kit?

Hannants.co.uk show a shed load of 144th scale aircraft kits in stock at good prices:

http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/index.php?product_category_id=&product_division_id=&manufacturer_id=&code=&product_type_id=1821&scale_id=957&keyword_search=&stock=1&setPerPage=25&currency_id=

I'm no expert on what aircraft were used in the Falklands so I'll let someone else sort through ;D searching all items rather than just 'in-stock' would throw up even more.

Anyone want a Vulcan I have made quite a few scratch build aircraft

Argentina did not have 'Delta Dagger's. They had the Israeli 'Dagger' which I believe is an Israeli copy of Mirage V with less capable avionics and engine.
