One for the guys at Home HQ.  Which periods sell the most figures, as in most popular? give a batting order if you can.

Also to which countries do you guys sell the most figures, again in batting order.

I know by just watching the forum weve got guys from alles uber the world, Yanks, Canadians, Frenchies, Belgians, Cheeseheads, just wondering how popular wargamming is in the outside world of the UK. Why? I dont know! just interested.

My guess would be WW2, Naps and ACW?

The biggest ranges by sales is tricky, cos things come in/out of fashion quite regularly.  The biggest seller is by far WWII, but when you think that we've got about 550 products in there out of 2800 total, it makes sense.  After that it's hard to tell.  We don't keep individual item sales stats, although the new website might have that abiity.  You've got the regulars like SYW/ACW/ECW, then people are also buying a lot of the newer ranges like the AWI/FPW, so it's a mixed bag really, and a hard question to answer.

Now for global orders stats, I keep tabs on everything!

Over the last 6 months - we've sent orders to:
UK - 69%
North America - 8%
Europe - 19%
Aus/NZ - 4%
ROW - 0.002%!

I love stats!  Me and Microsoft Excel should get a room really.   :P

He doesn't really.  He just says that to get it into bed.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Just noticed this old one laying around, and thought it would be interesting to see how sales trends have gone over the past couple of years.

2010, by volume:

UK - 65%
North America - 10.5%
Europe - 19.7%
Aus/NZ - 4%
ROW - 0.8%

2011, by volume:

UK - 67%
North America - 8.5%
Europe - 18.6%
Aus/NZ - 4.5%
ROW - 1.5%

Not much change, but it is good to see more RoW orders coming in, the recent surge has been over to Argentina, which is nice!

Falklands range?

:D ;D  We might get even more when it gets released...  :D

I actually chatted with one of the Argentinian customers, and he said that wargaming is pretty popular over there, with a growing economy and more disposable income, it's looking good.  One of the main clubs in Buenos Aires is getting into 10mm, so that's even better for us!
