I would like to play a game with my kids and would like to see your scenarios. Can you post please your adventures/Scenarios?

I`ll be posting many of these quite soon. I think these will be what you are looking for. Theres a slight set back at the moment, but I should be back on track in a short while  :)

Cheers,

I've been planning a game with my 7 year old for a while now, but it's taking a little longer to get everything knocked up and ready to go than I originally thought!

Hi crancko,
if you want, there is the scenario I used for my batrep in the pdf file : http://nikharwood.pbworks.com/f/2010_DW_batrep.pdf.
It is at page 11 and only requires the dungeon pack to be played. It'll help to wait for Six's work ! (which I really look forward to read !)

It is a "search and destroy" mission where the heroes need to find Merzototh, the evil sorcerer.
I included some (very light) special rules to destroy blocked doors, explore secred passages and pushing the pile of rubbles...

And you may want to listen to some Manowar when playing... you know.. for the mood ! :)

Hey Cyril, really good to hear from you again, it’s been too long.

Hmmmm, you know, the more I read and re-read this scenario, the more I like it.... no -  love it.

Your grasp of Dungeon World is pretty thorough, and I really like the way you take the game (rules) and are not afraid to change things to make it yours.

I think the batrep itself is exciting and flavourful. The miniatures and dungeon are beautifully modelled... and I especially like the side notes (little asides) you use to explain certain bits of the action. It reads and plays like a charm. As I mentioned before, it has a few in game balance issues, but heck - this was your first proper game and I think you put it together AMAZINGLY well. It looked enjoyable to play and at the end of the day, that’s what counts.

I also re-read your comments at the end of the game, and (I know I answered these a long time ago here in the forum) I think your words are both informative for others and interesting because they show there are other ways of playing the game; and again, I love that you take the game and turn it into something you can use more effectively for your needs.

All in all, I rate this highly as one of the best batreps for Dungeon World I`ve ever seen to date.

Thanks for sharing Cyril.

And once again, its great to see you back mate. Where have you been all this time hehe?

thanks cyril that was already read several times when i first acquired the dungeon as well as the ones in Nik's site.

KOVAV

once I get my minies and paint them up (which, it seems, will take till the 12th of never) I shall probably be doing some dungeon stuff. see after I am done making my Empire army for warhammer, I figure on Skaven and Dwarf armies. I was thinking, that in editon to doing WHFB with them, I can use them to do dungeon based scenarios/campaigns based on the massive underground battles between them.
Glory and Fame! blood is our name! souls full of thunder! hearts of steel! killers of men! a warriors friend! sword to avenge our fallen brothers to the end! one day to, I may fall; I shall enter odins hall!I shall die, sword in hand! my name, and my deeds shall scorch the land!

Sounds ideal   :)

Your options are wide open... you`re going to have a ball I think.

Allright then ! Anyway, if you ever plan to play it, I'm really interested in knowing how it unfolded...

Well.. thanks Six, again, I don't know what to say!  :-[
Actually I just tried to put everything I like to read in a batrep: the unfolding of the game from both the "rule side" and "storytelling side", without forgetting to talk about the overall "look and feel".

Unfortunately, I had a lot of work to deal with plus some backache which lasted me until now... A painful combination I don't want to bother you guys with. Anyway, the work eventually ended and I'm slowly getting better, so I cannot complain!  :P
However, I have bad news for my 10mm activity in the short term... I... I retrieved my "Hero Quest" and "Space Crusade" boxes and started to paint them. I just finished the Space Crusade and will start to paint the Hero Quest soon... including some other mins I've bought to replace the original ones... even though I had promised myself not to do that ever again...
What can I say! I have no self-esteem. ;D
