IIRC, the uniform and much of the equipment of early WW2 French army, fighting the German blitzkreig, were basically the same as WW1 French uniform and equipment.   So could you use Prendraken French WW1 infantry to build an early WW2 French force with decent accuracy?

Leon

You can use the basic infantry/Hotchkiss, and we'll be getting some masters from Snafu at Triples for some early WW2 French.

I also have used the WW1 French as WW2 French they come up Ok, I have also used the WW1 French as WW2 Belgium troops using the WW1 British command as Officers. For artillery I have used French WW1 75's with limbers from the WW2 German range.
