Elsewhere I notice Leon talking about a couple of the Ancients ranges that may get redone. Whilst I contemplate a small DBA project I was wondering what are the older sculpts that are most likely to get replaced.

I'm unsure what period to try yet, but its probably going to be late Roman/Dark Ages ala Bernard Cornwells Winter King. They could easily cross over into a Hordes of the Things style game too.

Am I right in thinking Clibinarium did the Late Romans?

Yes. And very nice figures they are too. I just received a large order of this range - and they look really good. Some of the cavalry feature in the painting comp thread - which shows just what a good painter can do with the figures.

Dave wants to redo the Punic stuff first, so the designer is doing a couple of Republican test pieces.  After that, I'm not sure.  Maybe the two Persian ranges, as they don't match up so well with the others.

Those sound good but I would like you to introduce a new nation to the ancients range  :D

At the risk of repeating myself, lets finish of the gaps in the current Ancients/Dark ages ranges about 10/12 new figures should do.
