So feel free to fill in the questions, i always enjoy reading what people did this year!

8: how many models did you paint (roughly)?

9:wich unused models/games did you sell/trade?

10: would you review your year as a good year of wargaming, or did you want more?

I'll fill in the questions myself in the first post!

1: best new rules/game you played?
song of drums and shakos; Had the rules for a while, but only managed to play them this year. Really liking the walking dead: all out war game, but i only have it since last week, so too early to call it the best!

2: worst new rules/game you played?
Battles of Napoleon: The Eagle and the Lion. A game i played with my collegue, just didn't grab me. Almost dozed in while resolving a combat  ;D

3: best purchase you did this year?
ready made and painted buildings from emperor toad's! Saves a lot of time and look great!!

4: worst purchase you did this year?
4 ground static grass. I'm used to army painter field grass, and bought the 4 ground one as a replacement because it's hard to find the army painter one. really don't like working with it!

5: most expensive purchase this year? And did you regret it?
That will be a lord of the rings ent. Don't regret a thing!

6: game you played the most this year?
Bolt action 2nd edition closely followed by the" songs of blades and heroes " engine

7: game you wish you had played more this year?
napoleonic wargaming! just never had the big table free!

8: how many models did you paint (roughly)?
i'm at 702 models and aiming for 750 by 31 december.

9:wich unused models/games did you sell/trade?
warhammer fantasy dwarves, 40k tyranids and some spare 28mm models i had. You just can't store it all!

10: would you review your year as a good year of wargaming, or did you want more?
More is always better  ;D
Must admit i had a very good year. Lot's of new things, a lot of projects finished and some interesting new ones started. Not that many games as opposed to last year, but you can't do everything at once!

I'll fill in the questions myself in the first post!

1: Best new rules/game you played? The only new system I've played has been Cruel Seas so I guess that's the best :) Quite fun.

2: Worst new rules/game you played? The only new system I've played has been Cruel Seas so I guess that's the worst too :) Too many bits and pieces and don't like the chosen scale. Plan on doing 1/600 version.

1: best new rules/game you played?
For King and Parliament - this has been a big hit with our group, and we have gone back and played To the Strongest as well, and applied the grid and activations to Sci Fi games as well. Honourable mentions to Dracula's America and Kill Team too.

2: worst new rules/game you played?
Commercial set - Bolt Action. Too fiddly, too slow.

3: best purchase you did this year?
FKaP rules - certainly best value for money

4: worst purchase you did this year?
I suspect the not-Skaven kickstarter by Laran miniatures - while the figures are great, I suspect it will join the pile of not painted 10mm fantasy armies...

5: most expensive purchase this year? And did you regret it?
Probably the Hobby Zone storage drawers - no regrets, very pleased with it.

6: game you played the most this year?
Not certain, probably FKaP, but could be Dracula's America.

7: game you wish you had played more this year?
Epic, Rommel, WWWI and several others. Would really like to be able to play more games! Even though I tend to game most Fridays. there are just too many games out there at the minute.

8: how many models did you paint (roughly)?
I don't know - skimming back through photos, not huge numbers, probably as quite a lot of 28mm, I'll guess at 200.

9:wich unused models/games did you sell/trade?
None

10: would you review your year as a good year of wargaming, or did you want more?
It was a good year of gaming. I still want more. I seem to have painted less this year.

2: worst new rules/game you played? - None.

3: best purchase you did this year? - Reference books, which are my main purchases these days.

4: worst purchase you did this year? - None that I can think of.

5: most expensive purchase this year? And did you regret it? - Probably a book and definitely no.

6: game you played the most this year? - The Pikemen's Lament.

7: game you wish you had played more this year? - BKCII.

8: how many models did you paint (roughly)? - Not enough, but around 30, with most being vehicles!

9:wich unused models/games did you sell/trade? - Post op recovery put pay to streamlining my collections.

10: would you review your year as a good year of wargaming, or did you want more? - A funny old year. Not much gaming for most of the year, but with a surge in the Spring with playtesting some rules followed by post op recovery games. Lack of opponents and the hot Summer played a big part. Still, not bad all-in-all.
