Being in an expansive mood, the stories of old vehicles inspires me to tell my first joke on the forum:
A Texan was driving through the mountains of West Virginia.

Rounding a steep curve he spied an old farmer mending the fence along the road. When the old man waved to him, the Texan was so charmed by this friendly gesture he pulled over to to talk. After exchanging several pleasantries about the land and the weather, the Texan asked,
" Tell me, partner, how big a spead you got here?"

Swelling with pride, the grizzled mountaineer point down the slope,
"Ya see that crick down yonder? My land runs from there, clear along that ridge up'er, to that there oak tree ya can barely see over yonder! It's a right big place for round chere."

Now it was the Texan's turn to boast,
"Not bad, but let me tell you about my spread. I can start driving from my eastern fence line at sun up and not get to the western one 'till near dark!"

The Hillbilly nodded knowingly,
"Yes sir, ah know what'ca mean, had a car like that once myself!"

I confess, in the unlikely event I lose, I will find it difficult to identify any virtues for UT, but a bet is a bet.  :D
