How would you fit on a base the parachutist descending  ? someone may give me an idea ? thank you.

fred.

A piece of wire, of thin clear acrylic rod, stuck into him in the nether  regions, the other end into the base.

I've not seen this particular figure, but have done similar with other flying figures / things

I see a suitable sub-plot in this years FSN Panto, about  Bert getting an acrylic rod in his nether regions. :)

Leaving poor Bert, and his afflictions.

Here are a couple of photos to illustrate the ideas

So we are finally getting to the bottom of things. Poor Bert.

Yeah, florist's wire is probably better in the nether regions than acrylic rod.

I tend to avoid any kind of rod in the nether regions as a simple life-mantra. Bit like looking both ways when crossing the road & never eating yellow snow.

moloch

thank you for your ideas now my brain is in action !

I'm regretting this even as I type, but... where did you get your faries?

fred.

Rise above it (see what I did there  :) )

They are 6mm, from a US supplier. But I'm struggling to remember which.

I'll have a rummage through emails.
