What Ho chaps!
Are there any suitable proxies you can think of for bow armed American native types on foot?
Fantasy barbarians will be too large.
What about AI11 Forest Indian with Bow/javelin?

Hello ML

Only other one I can think of in Pendraken's ranges would be old sculpt Gallic archer AG4, maybe with added breech-cloth from paper or green stuff :-

Cheers

PLW2 might be a possibility but needs some conversion.

Remove knife and bend right arm in towards chest, rotate left hand, cut small groove, glue wire bowstave to hand, add quiver, if required.

Yes, I'm still wondering about doing Vikings vs Skraelings in 10mm and regularly rummage in the dark recesses of the Pendraken catalogue looking for inspiration!  :)
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Maybe! I bought some to use as Picts for a Conan game since there were no suitable Native Americans and I think they work.

The only photo I've currently got is from a distance, primed:

Top middle, between the pegasus and mushroom...

They're wearing what looks like a padded/leather armour, with bracers and the like and have a disk with two prongs pointing up (which I took for a feathered headdress). I'll see if I can find/grab a closer photo, they are painted black and then over-brushed brown so that should show a bit more detail  :-\

Cheers!

Thanks chaps. Will look at mixing those up.

Having just looked at the picture on the website, all the detail is there!

Just looked at my figures again and what I took for clothing/armour could actually be 'interesting' sculpting  :-/

The javelin man especially seems to have sleeves that are separate to any other garment he might be wearing! Kind of like that gladiator armour I can't remember the name of at the moment...  :-[

Right, let's see if this works! Rough and ready photos from my phone; not had the chance to see them on a big screen yet! A full 360° view...

Some of the javelins could be converted to tomahawks/clubs with a snip and bit of green-stuff if you're feeling adventurous ;)
