Yep, the army is all glued up. I'll paint them bit at a time around Frostgrave stuff and those 28mm Ancient Germans.
Only think the Apes might need is another base of warriors (I've only 3) and some Centaur allies to get cheap cavalry troops.

Nice.  What's not to like about samurai apes and they really don;t look like mongols at all   I love the effect of the water elements rising from the stream and the paintjob whihc accentuates it.  In my nascent planning for a samurai ape army I'd envisaged something similar with a kraken mage gesturing on a jetty in the background. Planning for that hasn't got any further than an idea in my head of course!

My Kraken are joined on their base with two sacrificial human females (or they could be Elves!  ). I like the idea of them directed the elementals, though. Don't worry, I won't be borrowing it

I'm going to use a spare water elemental miniature as an ersatz 28mm ethereal undead for Frostgrave (Wraith rules in the main rules book). Also, since I've a few spare tiger (animal) models I'll use them as 'giant rats' for Frostgrave.

Whereas, in truth I genuinely enjoy seeing what folk.....erm ? ..... use them for....Change them into.
