Nice work on those latest figures.

Thanks all!

Think I'm going to go with a red flash on the BUF caps and use purple on some of the Anglican figures to make them stand out. Now if only someone would sculpt up some clergymen.

- Neil.

You can get Monks in the Medieval range, with one running with a staff and one kneeling. Might be useful?

Hello Neil

I painted up the Boer officer with bowler as a clergyman

There is the VBCW officer as well, just a purple dickie and white dog collar is enough to 'uniform' them.

Probably any of the civilian suited types could be used. The large gentleman from the WW2 French refugees could be used as a senior officer

Not sure the BUF/Fascist would go red - it's a bit socialist/communist, the Royals probably wouldn't like that! Maybe dark blue for the cap, or even black, perhaps with a white/blue dab for a "cockade"?

Red works for me, I seem to recall a bit of red on a fascist flag from the 30s & 40s

What colour did you undercoat Neil? Hard to tell from the first pic.

Undercoated in white. It's how I always did it, so just decided to keep on doing it that way. I found picking out detail from black undercoat hard.

Yeah, the outside of the BUF flag was red (like the Nazi's swastika), it's just not something very "uniform"-like for them to me at least :)

I am off to get a blue later, want to try a bright blue cap. And purple for flashes and berets for the Anglicans. Going to sacrifice some WWI Middle East Brits to the cause as a full test of the Khaki Grey.

- Neil.

So today's efforts:

Anglican Militia (conscripted WWI Middle East British, final figure will most likely be WWI French)

Not based yet as I didn't get out to get some scatter grass/flock as originally planned and didn't want to put the filler down and have it dry.

Also painted up some Royalist Regulars and some BUF Militia but photos can wait until they are based.

Excellent choice :D

Damm you sir! I have enough ME figs to do the Militia with just them. Decisions, decisions...

(Does mean I would need to order less, Leon will not be impressed)

Hello Again

You know you can use up the surplus ME figures with a different paint job and then you have Spode's Blackshorts for the other side
