Sounds a good idea, not too sure if I could contribute anything but would certainly be interested in seeing it come to life.

Bodvoc

QuoteWell I suppose I should respectfully ask if those interested could put their name to one of the above subjects, I'd hope one of the batreps would be a Warband one. Photos and articles should be submitted to me at
craigarmstrong1973@gmail.com as a word document, I would also beg a list of manufacturers people would like to see advertised/linked in the magazine. If we get enough content I'll stick it up for download asap, here we go! Good luck lol

Put me down for a Warband batrep, with Photo's, although I will be using 6x3cm bases, not the 'official' ones

I'm thinking,
Showcase army
Batrep no1
Terrain
New releases
Focus article which changes each issue eg size comparison one week then say historical engagement the next
Adds for relevant scale manufacturers
Batrep no 2

Definitely thinking along the right lines there, Duke.

You could put me down for a focus article - something like "the journey from 20mm to 10mm", or "half the size, twice as satisfying."

Have you an idea for a word count?

;D =O ;D

Brilliant; who wouldn't read that? =D>
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

Seeing as we have no paper publishing costs Id say no maximum word count but I'm thinking 800-2000 would give enough scope, anymore than 2k we could do an article continuing to the next issue.

So far

The illustrious Luddite has kindly agreed to do an article, hopefully about Warband if he's not too sick of penning this subject matter
Bodvoc - Warband batrep
FSN - focus 10-20mm journey
I have already got adds from some target manufacturers (would love to see something from Pendraken obviously)
I have someone in mind for new releases too.

As for deadline, shall we say end of April

If you need something more, maybe i can help out a bit?

Currently painting acw troops (pendraken), and 2mm napoleonics, so if you are down an article i could pitch in maybe.

Allso, may i suggest a 'eavy metal' type column, like white dwarf used to have the golden demon showcase, but with the painting comp winners??

Good idea on both counts

We still need a terrain feature and a second batrep

I can't promise a batrep now, i'll have to check the schedule as i have a few busy weeks, i have a terrain project on hold, a crashed revell micro wings fighter for normandy, but don't know when i'll get to it. I could always record the progress and if it's not on time, maybe it can be used for the 2nd issue if it is a succes?

Seeing how this whole thing may have legs, is this all ok with Pendraken it being in resources given that there will be an adds section for other companies?
