My thanks to Leon for loading my Bat Rep on a Winter War game I solo played a couple of weeks ago. You can find it here:

THe terrain is excellent - would you mind describing how you did it?

Really nice looking table Kelvin 8). I loved the T-28 falling through the ice!

Were you using BKCI or II rules?

Thanks for kind comments

BKC2 rules with a house rule for any tanks on ice.  Essentialy if a tank on ice wanted to move, 2D6 was thrown - for light tanks (T26s) a double 6 saw the tank fall through the ice. For heavy tanks BT5 BT7 or T28 a dice throw of double 5 or double 6 brought on that sinking feeling.

Trees are cheap Chinese trees bought on Ebay - they are bright green! - so wearing a plastic glove using spray paints, dust them with matt black primer, then earth brown and finish of with dark green if you've been heavy handed with the earlier applications.  The base is 3mm hardboard pained white, the trees are stuck on with a hot glue gun - it would be better to drill a hole and insert the tree and then use a hot glue gun - its a better - stronger fixing. Once fixed the tree were dusted with white primer for the snow effect.

Best regards
