Hi all, I've been a 10mm convert for a couple of years. I've down scaled by WW2 forces to 10mm. I play Rapid Fire which means the smaller scale adds scope for bigger battles! Some photos over in the gallery. I'm trying to be disciplined and keep away from 10 mm Napoleonics...

If you wanted to be disciplined this is not the forum to join. :)  You will now be given dozens of reasons by members of the forum as to why you should get 10mm  Napoleonics. These will range from practical to the ridiculous, but will eventfully remove all your discipline, and you will find you can field a corps of troops from all protagonists.

Not only that you will be nagging Leon to make some obscure figure to "complete you collection" ( 99.9% of this forum will not understand the word complete when applied to wargames armies).

So welcome to the forum Dom and good luck with the 10mm Napoleonic British, French, Russian........armies  :)

Welcome to the forum.

complete /kəm-plēt′/
adjective

1.    Having at least ten times as many of any troop type than the real world force could field.

"I'll just place these 20 Maus tanks here"

2.    Having bought all available miniatures for a force because the only producer of miniatures for the force has retired/  gone bust/ decided to stop making them.

"I bought so many armoured circus elephants balanced on giant beach balls and crewed by multiple naffatun the moulds have worn out. I guess I'll call that army complete then."

3.    Having come to an end; concluded.

"Ladies and gentlemen, a minutes silence in remembrance of our late friend and colleague who's collection is now complete."

Welcome!
You're half the way there. Pendraken Napoleonics are superb. 10mm is a perfect scale for the period.

Go on. Try a pack or two.

I think WWII and Napoleonics are the two most popular wargaming periods for several good reasons. I won't list any of these as I don't want to prove Orcs right. Just believe me and do it.  ;)

Have you seen the standards that you can get from Pendraken as well?

Tiny Tin Troops added recently. I got the German ones for the Hesse flags, and because the Saxons ones were included I now feel the need to buy a Saxon army.

It would be a pity to let the Saxon standards go to waste.
