I'd think the earlier Japanese eras would lend themselves more to individual heroism and flash uniforms. With a really high ratio of ashigaru to samurai, Sengoku strikes me as allowing smaller scales more readily.

Clib, the points you make are exactly why I opted to do the Senguko Jidai in the smallest size I could - O8's 3mm.

I hate all the fiddly detail on larger figures. My plan is for sonae of ashigaru, samurai, cavalry, commanders and banner bearers all on one base. With all the annoying detail lost in the distance.

I'm sure Wargames Atlantic will find buyers for their figures and I too hope there's plenty of spill-over to Pendraken.
