Regarding the Red Vectors MDF snake rail fencing, as sold by Pendraken.

Can anyone explain to me how the V shaped legs attach to this? From the (admittedly small) photo it looks like they just go over the top of the fence, but when I try this, the ends of the legs don't reach the ground. 

Given how simple this kit is, I do feel I'm missing something here. 

It is supposed to, but not really needed.  Look at pictures of snake rail fences; some have it others don't.

Had another look at the pieces - and discovered they are not symmetrical, one end is missing the little foot. The V shaped pieces fit at these ends. 

Based on the advice above I've only added them on half the lengths

Now just a dry brush to lighten the overall colour from the dark cut surfaces
