Would have no worries unless bag was Very worn... but would not be used, anyway. You would NOT put food/utensils into a bag that had had 'lead' soldiers in it! LOL!

Paul and I recycle our baggies by putting more figures in them.....well a figure actually - Paul kindly paints figures for me when required and puts each one in a separate baggie to return them to me for basing.... though I think with the amount of stuff we have bought over the years it would take quite a few figures to fill them all  ;)

That's a dangerous place to be FK. You know what they say about wargamers and painting their last figure!

Does that mean you can get B Certified?! Be the first wargames company I've seen if so.

I imagine there's both an "image" thing there (tatty bags potentially putting people off), and a safety issue - even if the bag looks fine, can you really be sure and check them when you're lobbing a million orders a week out?

I'm not sure what that is to be honest!  All of our metal dross (the oxidised stuff that we scrape off) is sent back to the metal company to be recycled.  All of the MDF offcuts go to our local recycling place, as does any cardboard or plastic that we receive in deliveries.  Old orders and paperwork is shredded down and sent to recycling as well.

The only actual waste we put in the regular bin would be food waste or non-recyclable plastics really.

I'm trying to get the unit itself a lot more energy efficient but it's incredibly difficult with the size of the building and the age of it.

Sounds very much like the "Great Place to Work" scheme that our company proudly announced we'd bought been awarded a couple of years before I left.

The aim is laudable and a lot of it's adherents are very good in many ways, but when Nespresso was going to buy, sorry, attain, B cert it feels a little hollow :D

I've had a quick look and I don't think I can afford the £1250 per year fee to be certified!
