...and all through the night,
...not a creature was stirring,
...not even a Maus!"
We're been thinking about adding a 1946 / Weird War range at some point, so this might fit in nicely!

We're thinking it's going to be a resin hull at the moment, metal turret.

To whom it may concern:
If that thing appears on any table of mine I'm calling in the Lancasters with Grand Slams! :D
or just retreat 6 inches and wait for it to run out of fuel ?
You'd need to work out some kind of shrapnel house rule as well, for when it's gearbox explodes.
Too big and heavy to cross German bridges, but apparently could wade across rivers :-\.
But of course just sank in wet ground and then abandoned
Issue 12 of the SOTCW Journal (available as part of Compendium 2) includes a scenario using 1-3 Maus. I played it once, some years ago, and it was good fun.

Oho - I'll have six please :d
Did this ever get into a mould in the end? Just wondering as it might make a nice objective for a 1945 scenario...

Shoot me an email and I'll have a check. It went into a mould but it was a bit of a nuisance to cast and we just shelved it until we got some more 1945+ things made. I might have one or two sitting in a drawer somewhere though.
Will do :) !
I have a Pendraken Maus and another 1/144th scale one by Dragon or Takom (I think).
They have taken part in my "Last Stand at Kummersdorf" scenario on several occasions. The different models make it easy for participants to tell which Maus is designated as having the mild steel turret!
For around £45 Jadlam Racing Models will do you a Landkreuzer P1000 Ratte and the two Maus variant as kits. Good luck persuading your opponent to let you field them!

Well it will be solo, so no problem on that front :D ! Coming up with some stats might be an issue, but I'll worry about that if and when I get a Maus to play with...
Even when playing solo my opponent bickers with me :)
As to rules, in my LSaK scenario a Maus wishing to move rolls a D6. If the die roll is less than the turn number the Maus is immobilised.
Armour is 2+ for the complete Maus and 5+ for the one with the mild steel turret. 8 hits but hits don't come off.
Main gun as per the Jagdpanzer, co-ax as per the PzIV kurz.
As you may be able to tell, I use BKC. YMMV
Forget name but ont of Japanese companys doing 1/144th did a Maus, I have 2 I think...
