Title: Prizes Announced!
Post by: Leon on 20 January 2013, 07:00:39 PM
Time for the important stuff, as we take a look at the prizes!  In each category, there will be a winner and a runner-up, and each of those lucky folk will receive the following:

- The Winner of each category will receive £20 worth of Pendraken credit!
- The Runner-Up of each category will receive £10 worth of Pendraken credit!

In addition to the Pendraken prizes, the Winner of each category will also receive a special category-specific prize, donated from our generous sponsors:

Foot - Pre-20th C. - 2 sets of rules from Realistic Modelling / Realtime Wargaming!

"Stonewall" Jackson's Shenandoah Valley Campaign: Wargame Rules for Divisional Level ACW Battles
Set of 10mm battlefield rules that can be used to fight one-off battles or even the valley campaign using the map system which is included with the game. Units are brigades and batteries with one base = 100 infantry, 50 troopers or two guns. The rules emphasise the command ability of the CinC's to activate units and move them about the battlefield.

"Blood & Sand": Wargame Rules for the Mahdist Wars in the Soudan
Set of 10mm rules covering both the early war relief of Khartoum and the later Kitchener campaign. Players command the Anglo-Egyptians, while the Mahdists are controlled by a deck of cards and a novel movement system that highlights their fanatical courage. The scale is 1 base = infantry company, troop of horse or 2 guns or machine-guns. For the Mahdists each base = 100-200 foot, 50-100 cavalry/camelry or 4-6 guns.

Keith is the owner of Realistic Modelling Services, the well established terrain, tree and accessories company.  Brian Cameron and myself, Bernard Ganley, are the joint authors of most of Keith's rule sets sold under the Real Time Wargames title.
