I am looking to attend on the Saturday, bringing with me some more painted AWI and LOA samples for Leon.  I've been out of the loop for a few months but am finally getting back in there.  Dazza will be happy about that, I'm sat here basing four newly completed units for him.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone

10mm or 6mm? Range 21 is always good, but maybe a bit 'Northern' http://www.timecastmodels.co.uk/range_21/range_21.html (http://www.timecastmodels.co.uk/range_21/range_21.html)
21/LE1 to 21/LE6 would be my first guess...

With maybe the barn from range 7 mixed in:
http://www.timecastmodels.co.uk/range_7/range_7.html (http://www.timecastmodels.co.uk/range_7/range_7.html)

Thanks Lemmey, I wasn't sure if they were a bit too early for 1866, although one account I've read of the battle of Koniggratz refers to "mud huts" so maybe anything goes! I'll have a look at them at Warfare, might get some later buildings and mix them in  :-\

Hope you're on commission!

"Nope!" Just work for resin!

Mark & Barrie from Timecast are doing an 1866 campaign at this very moment, if you ask them they will show you which building they used.

You need to get a T-Shirt with that printed on!

Will ask the guys, having looked at the various discussions here, I'm probably going to go 6mm for the buildings.

Thanks again!

Same buildings, much smaller!  range 20!

Althogh range 3 has some useful bits too http://www.timecastmodels.co.uk/range_3/range_3.html (http://www.timecastmodels.co.uk/range_3/range_3.html)

Just got home from a great day out. I enjoyed the show, lots to see, a lot of people to catch up with and chat to and quite a bit to tempt me for the future. It was good to meet Mad Lemmey and Sixsiddeddice, who's dungeon layout looked really great. :-bd

Easy to just walk up to the stand and pick up my pre-paid order (also meant that, if questioned, I can truthfully say that I didn't spend any money with Pendraken today!). :d

Tried that but then Leon tempted me back with more resin goodies... and I wasn't helped by the 'playful spread' of the entire Falklands range laid on the table infront of the till... swine  ;D

Had a great day, caught up with a few friends and picked up a couple of bargains.  I dropped off with Leon the last of the AWI painted samples, all packs in this range up to this date (so no images yet of the up and coming mounted figures :() now have painted figures for each pose.  I will have the LOA figures completed soon.

Hi had a great day at the show on Sat, and would like to thank the Pendraken team for their great service, and especially a big thank you to Stephen for playing a great dungeon game with my two youngest towards the end of the day. They are only 5yrs and 4yrs old but were so immersed in the game and did quite well in managing those monsters that I had to buy a set. Going to be busy painting for a couple of months with all the other ww11 stuff I also bought. Thanks again guys all the best Kevin.

Very quiet show as far as trade goes, lots of new traders too, some nice demo games but they felt a bit tucked away!!

Andy- another time then, just hope coffee isn't charged at compound interest rates;)

We had an enjoyable weekend, good to see the Forum folks out in force at this one, and I must extend a huge thanks for Sixsideddice for making the long trip over from Ireland to put on our Dungeon demo game.  He must be one of the most enthusiastic and friendly people I've ever met, and everyone who had a game seemed to really enjoy themselves.

Thanks guys, I had a wonderful time over at Reading.... I’m really glad we travelled from Ireland to attend the show (and Hils really enjoyed herself a Warfare AND availing herself of the myriad of clothes shops in the city ;) It was a real pleasure to put on a bit of a Dungeon World show throughout the Saturday and Sunday for the public to watch or take part in, and I’m delighted people enjoyed it as much as I did.... by now, everyone will no doubt have gathered I can talk the back end off the donkey without little encouragement needed hehe.
We’re both still in England (visiting family in Felixstowe) but will be flying back late tonight; so I’ll soon be able to post a whole bunch of photos both Hils and I took at Warfare.

We take them to the shows for our friend Cliff, who's the second guy in the pics above.  We've thought about selling online, but there's so little markup and such high postage costs involved, it's not really worth it.

Ruddy chap cost me a fortune last Colours... I went to pay for a simple book on WW2 tanks. "Oh, you're interested in WW2 armour are you?" He says... "Have a look at all these fantastic books on Tank battles, like Operation Citadel..." I staggered away from the cash desk in the end arms straining under the weight of books he 'forced' me to buy...  :'(

Cheers Kev; your two wee ones were enchantingly wise, and a pleasure to see them enjoying things so much... you must be so proud of them. They remind me of my two girls when they were that age (both grown and at college now... gosh how time flies).

Glad you all had a great time at the show, I know I did.

Great news about your dungeon; looking forward to seeing the photos of it all.... the heroes & bad guys as well. Keep up the cool work ;-)
