Hello,
I just wonder if I could complete SYW Indian army for Plassey campaign with existing range of Pendraken figures. One of the adventages of 10mm figs is easiness of converting so there is a chance.
First I look for Ancient India range elephants - I am sure they would be suitable.
For irregular infantry I would try colonial range Afghan tribesmen or Sudan madhists.
For cavalry and artillery maybe I coud use figures from renaissance Ottoman Turks range.
I think the biggest problem would be making Sepoys in British and french service. I cant find anything for making these guys.
Any Ideas?
I think you have just added a whole new range to the wish list. Could extend it to include Wellington in India.
The Sepoy's would be the biggest problem, we've already had a vote for them, so I'll put another one down.
Is there a way to see a photo of Ancient India range elephants, please?

I'll try and get some taken over the weekend.
I've got two Moghul armies, so Plassey shouldn't be impossible. You can use a lot of medieval Islamic stuff, and if you mix in some NW frontier figures it doesn't look bad (barring carrying straps on the firearms). Note that you can vary the Pendraken figures with Irregular Miniatures too; my elephants are a mix of Pendraken (home-made howdah added) and similarly modified IM Ghaznavid armoured jumbos; the effect is very pretty. I've also used some IM barded horsemen with Pendrakens, and they love most colourful.

Thanks for info. And what do you use for British and French sepoys?
Sorry; I play them in the 16th century, so sepoys are a problem I haven't had to face. You need shorts and a turban, don't you?
