As quickly as the deadline arrived for the Painting Competition, we've got another month's worth of releases ready. Time to pick up those brushes again... :D
It's a 20th Century batch for March, firstly with the addition of the SCW Personalities, Militia cavalry, Foul Weather troops, and the Casualties. We're almost there with this range, just a few odds and ends to tie up, including a load of artillery which arrived at Pendraken HQ this past week. We'll get some pics of those up when we get chance.
The other half of the releases sees all those WW2 masters we've been tempting you with now on the website. Early War Germans, Russian Senior command, and those handy VBCW types, which we've added into the WW2 British section, along with a new 'VBCW' section in the Inter War category.
In other areas, we've extended the Dice offering with a load of Poly sets. Each set contains 1 x D4/6/8/10/12/20/10's, and is a very reasonable £1.95.
So, here's the full list in all it's glory:

Leon , should be noted the home guard type are in civilian clothing LDV and not army uniform. :)
I've ordered some of these already.
Ha, you lot at Pendraken are really the bees knees. Early WWII Jerries, Russians in pilotka.. There is a God after all! :D
Aart
I really need this wish list thing in the shop, coz there have been so many things I want/need to have, and I'm so gonna forget most of it when I prepare my Salute order. :(
Awesome! All the Home Guard/LDVs and some of the SCW personalities will be going on my next VBCW order 8)
Cheers,
Kev
WOW - I had no clue what VBCW meant. I thought it was some side war that I missed, but found out it is a "what-if" universe. So cool, will it be posted in the fantasy range? I still havent found what LDV or BUF stand for - any help?
Leon, you might want to post the bit about your release for the VBCW here:
http://gwargamesp.18.forumer.com/index.php?
then click on the The Edward VIII Cocktail Bar forum. They seem to be all about this VBCW might even get some more converts to the wonderful world of Pendraken Miniatures :D
LDV .. local defence volounteer
BUF .. british union of fascists.
:D
Leon you are an evil man :d
Putting up pictures of shiny new toys and then when I order some send me an e-mail saying I must wait up to 21 days for them ~X( >:( :'(
Order on the way :D
21 days...that'll give you time to paint those renaisance troops ;D

I'll go and do that now. I was chatting with Dave about where to put them, so in the end created the separate VBCW section. There's another thread going at the moment for vehicle suggestions, and I'll put those in there as well.

We're quite close to the 21 at the moment, but we're starting to slowly catch up now. We're working flat out everyday, cos we need to be up to date in the run-up to Salute.

We've got a customer who has something to do with GWP, so I'll have a look over there.
Lovely. Again. 8)
I do need you to stop fecking with my dice-fetish though...I've done so well to resist...so far...and now you come out with the polyhderals...[cue Homer Simpson voice]....mmm, polyhedrals... 8-}

More poly's next month, in the more exotic finishes!
[shudder].... :x
That emoticon is only there cos I can't find a weak-at-the-knees-unable-to-resist one - it's not cos you're a hottie or anything.
Just sayin'...
Although I have seen that vid of you wrestling <:-P 8-} =D> :ar! <) :d

Excellent! the home guard and civilians with shotgun will make excellent IRA, speaking of which, why bother with the fantasy VBCW, why not just do Irish civil war instead!
Any chance of the home guard being recast with flat caps to save me from putting another hole in my leg whilst taking the helmets off? They would make good generic resistance fighters too.
:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
I need a pay rise so I can have more toys argh &^!&$^!$&$%!%$^
Your all evil villians releasing these lovely treats :d :d :d :d
As for wrestling vid's LOL now i wonder which site Nik is referring to..... :-\ :-\ :-X
Any chance of that Bren gunner being done as a late war version too? I've never been that happy with the kneeling one just doesn't fit in with the other poses. If not could get away with the BEF one by filing off the gas mask case I suppose.
no Tarletons :(

Haha, that's fine, Dave casts those!
I love all the new releases, but would like to see more photos appearing on your website as you release them. Nothing better on a Sunday morning than browsing the internet for potential purchases, but kinda doin it blind with Pendraken. For example I'm looking at getting some Sdkfz 251d but not sure if they come with an infantry load or crew as there's no photo :-\

Unfortunately all of our photo equipment was damaged in a house fire in December, and we haven't been able to get it back in action yet. We're hoping to have it done very soon, and then we'll get some more photo's up.
I must say that the lack of images on the site is a bit frustrating and I have only bought items where an image is present.
You seem to have a very friendly and helpful forum. For a guess the vast majority of your ranges are in the hands of forum members and, as shown by the recent painting competition, members can provide decent images. I for one wouldn't have a problem sending images of painted models for you to use on the site.
You could fairly quickly have images for all lines which would benefit everyone.

We're looking at a few options at the moment to get more images on to the site, so we'll keep everyone informed.
Ha ha - thats you told Leon!!! :D :D :D :D get a grip ;D ;) ;)
We're wanting a uniform look to all of the pictures on the website, which is the blackwashed images, so we're reluctant to start adding all kinds of different images from all over. We had hoped to get more taken and uploaded than we have, but finding the time to cast them delayed things initially, and then a housefire in December damaged most of the equipment, and the photo room.
We've got the equipment sorted, and the room is just about back in action. Once that's ready, we'll be getting a load more done for the site. We are also looking at other ways of adding images to the site, but we'll need to have a look at a few things first.
Yip cheers mate - i was only kidding - Im more than happy with all - just keep on casting and designing :-* :-*
