Colin and I have embarked on a new case using When Nightmares Come, again set in the 1920s, this time centred around the Balkans. Background and first game is on the blog https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2024/07/when-nightmares-come-balkans-case-1920s.html

I still haven't properly read your first report based in Egypt :( :'(
I've bookmarked this page and your blog's, hoping to get round to reading them all at some point as I really like the idea of the game.
Nice one Graham
Our heroes have a nasty encounter with something hairy in the moonlit forests https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2024/07/when-nightmares-come-balkans-case-1920s_10.html

That caravan gets around Europe, doesn't it?
Awesome report Graham.
Look forwards to seeing Venice again
We got around to the third game in this quite quickly https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2024/07/when-nightmares-come-balkans-case-1920s_13.html

Great report Graham, looks like a tight one!
Game 4 took us to a boatyard on the edge of the city. https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2024/07/when-nightmares-come-balkans-case-1920s_30.html

Great report, sounds like a close one!
Watching "Penny Dreadful" again, and noticing - as any but the blind must - how extensively Eva Green's fine superstructure is on display, not that I'm complaining, far from it...where was I? Of, yes. Should the show not really be called "Green's Anatomy"?

My review of Penny Dreadful from almost 5 years ago (https://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,19004.msg285914.html#msg285914) . . .
Game 5 is up on the blog https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2024/08/when-nightmares-come-balkans-case-1920s.html

We finally got the last game of the campaign in...https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2024/08/when-nightmares-come-balkans-case-1920s_17.html

Wow, sounds epic Graham.
Thanks Will, it was....intense! :o
Excellent stuff Graham - gripping in word and deed. Well done.
My only, slightly churlish, observation is that these Werewolves seem a tad easy to dispatch!
I thought we were looking at silver bullets for certain termination of such hellish monsters?
However, I am looking forward to the next adventure - maybe some abandoned isle in the Outer Hebrides? Or a Norse or Russian snowbound excursion perhaps?
Keep the reports coming
Yours
Mark
