Title: Copydex Glue
Post by: Orcs on 01 November 2023, 09:32:59 AM
Has anyone found a cheaper version of Copydex?

I want the same stuff  - Rubberized glue that gives a strong bu breakable glue to stic figures to painting sticks that you can then peel off when finished.

Copydex is a brand name so I thought there must be something the same out there that is cheaper?

Carpet glue is the same sort of thing I think? Though can probably only buy it in large quantities.

I use cheap wood glue on wooden lolly sticks. Now and then you may need to use a knife to get the odd figure off but most of the time it's fine.

Copydex, aka Rubber Cement, aka Cow Gum, is what I use.

Haven't found a significantly cheaper alternative and the few alternatives I've found are harder to source.

Try fabric glue from Hobby Craft. It's worked OK for me.

That's what I use too.  Just a tiny dot is enough but, as you say, a knife is sometimes necessary.
