I have Defiant Russia, published by Worthington Press up on the table, which covers the Barbarossa campaign, June to December 1941. There are 7 turns in the game, each one represents a month. Over the next 7 days, I will play one turn a day and adding the outcome of play to an ongoing narrative on my blog. Part 1 is a longer than the updates will be as it sets the background and describes some elements of the game. For those interested the LINK is;

Good stuff Norm
I will follow along with interest having played a game on the same subject a couple of days ago
Having seen it is only a 7 turn game, I was surprised to see how many counters there are, I was expecting something a bit more abstract. Is each counter a division?
Feels the Germans didn't do enough in the June turn, no pockets starting to form?
Looking forward to watching this unfold Norm :) .
Fred, the Germans are corp sized and the Soviets are Armies for infantry and brigades for armour. That is an awful lot of red to be facing, but the removed pile of counters builds pretty fast.
I'll be following this as well :)
