An amazing free resource of WWII maps at the following website:

Very cool
Good find. Thanks for posting.
Thanks, Steve. Not a period of particular interested to me BUT love maps and spend more time studying them than any other hobby activity (except naps of course). Just spent 15min studying the area around Abbeville. Nice!
Aw, great! That makes my WW2 map book obsolete now. #-o
I was hoping to flog this to fsn ....
Bookmarked, an incredibly useful resource :-bd =D> :-bd =D> :-bd =D>
Someone had put a link up via a post on Facebook and I thought it too good not to share. It will be useful to compare Google maps and street view to see how much has changed etc over the years.

I'll post it to you, if you want it (and if you don't like it, just send me it back). :)

Great stuff, thanks for the heads up!
Thanks! interesting resource!
I actually have a few big old maps of the major cities here in Belgium. My grandfather was a railroad engineer and i kept them when he passed away.
I always wanted to do something with them. Now with a bolt action Belgian army on the way it might be time to plan a campaign!
Sounds a good plan Peter :-bd
An Awesome resource.
spent a few minutes looking at the Caen map. I used to have the D-Day maps.
when I went back to my house couldn't find them :(
MM :- might be an Idea to get these printed.

Sean
Useful - I always find maps fascinating in their own right.
Me too! There must be counselling available somewhere. ;)
