Will do!
Looking forward to seeing a few fellow denizens of this forum this weekend*. On our OWS BBB table we will be running:
Saturday:
ECW - Inverkeithing (in 2mm)
Austro-Prussian War - Langensalza (1866), with Pendraken figures O:-)
Sunday:
ACW - Antietam (in 6mm)
These are all participation games. The Saturday games are small short ones that should be over in 90 minutes, while Antietam may get played twice or may spin out all day, depending on players' inclinations. But anyone is welcome to drop in and try any of these games for as short or long as suits you; we'll try to be flexible and accommodate everyone who's interested in whatever way is convenient.
Enjoy the show!
Chris

Our last journey south for 2018 ,
I assume that Dave will be conspicuous by his absence from the stand as he "networks " (drinking coffees, eating pies and chatting to all and sundry)? ;)
See You and Adele there. :)

He's not with us at all this year, just me and Adele for this one. He's planning on going to Cliff's for a bit of gaming though, so they might make an appearance on the Sunday as punters.
@Leon I'll come and keep you company :- in between having a go at BBB ECW and Langensalza and swapping unpainted lead for painted lead etc

HA! I was right. Just make sure you don't give him a discount ;)
Well I had a good day at Warfare
I played the Bloody Big Battles ECW game in 2mm put on by Bruce and lost
I played Bloody Big Battles 1866 Langensalza in 10mm and lost
I chatted to Cad at 4Ground - they've finally realised that 28mm isn't the one true scale and that 10mm is the way forward!
And I had a chat with Leon and Adele about the short comings of the English education system :o
Numbers seem a bit down but I still rate this as the best show of the year
Sounds like an interesting day out ;)

Guess who?
The Four Pedestrians of the Apocalypse?
Kiss without their makeup?
Reading's Most Wanted?
That new singing sensation "Leon and his Members"?
"Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Dark Lord"?
3 Befores and an After?
No, no, no, no, no........
If that's Leon, on the right......He's obviously got 'the portrait' hidden in the attic !!! (I only guess that because of the brand name on the jacket.)
I truly haven't got a clue who any of those reprobates are.
I don't believe any of them are you, Will.
Cheers - Phil
Mr. Lemmy looks fiercely happy, like one contemplating the sack of a village.
Yep, no question in my mind - Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin!
Great looking crew regardless!!!!

Any likeness between me and the chap in a dashing blue cardigan is purely coincidental
Cheers,

So the chap in the cardie looks like Aksu. Interesting.
I wonder who he is. :-\
Can we guess the name of the one wearing a name tag :-\
Is it casting dwarf recruitment day?
I enjoyed the show. It did seem rather quiet (as usual on Sundays of two day shows). Meeting up with some of the Forum was excellent. had a good chat with Leon and M'lady as well as Simon and Andy on the S&A/Lancashire miniatures stand and Andy at Last valley.
Got a few bits including some extra roads and some more figures to paint. Also caught up with some gaming friends.
As for this picture I can only confirm that the one on the right is a dealer in addictive substances.
Saw this photo underway as waiting to access the 19C area of the stand.
Impressive bunch.
In the end picked up more tanks and BEF [ever predictable]
I'm assuming after taking a picture of Orcs the camera had to be burned.
