Very nicely painted Bashi Bazouks. Don't know how many you'd actually have seen on the battlefield, though. They'd be too busy plundering and cutting throats in the rear areas, I reckon.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

top work keeping the colours totally random and no obvious repetition between figures.  :-bd
Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

Techno

Very nice indeed, M.
Is the pic before a 'selfie' ?.....I think we should be told. ;)

;D Nah, I think just the one hump for a camel's enough

Don't say that - I've been wanting a few Bactrian baggels for my Indian and Chinese armies for years.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

At long last the first lot of Dervish are finished. 20 bases of warriors, 8 of rifles and a sort of command stand

This only the beginning.....I am not sure how many more I will have to do but roughly:
24 bases of warriors and two of rifles
4  bases of cavalry
10  bases of camelry
3 guns
plus...

next to paint....Hadendowah reinforcements

Nice use of colour to differentiate the warriors and rifles, if you can afford a rilfe you can afford more dyed cloth  =D>
