Oh, like them a lot, Maeno. That's "Fanhard" spelled "Faintheart" is it?

Cheers Guys :)

Dear Mr Herts. Lord Fanhard is somewhat concerned by your implication that he may have a yellow streak, his family has a long line of Bravery and derring do which is carrying on to this day. This sideline into the Sudan is a little warm for his British constitution, but otherwise it is nothing out of the ordinary for a chap such as him. He did learn very quickly that Colonel Lyle's belief that the 'natives' will run away if you shout at them was somewhat inaccurate. He now tends to shoot at them, this is a little more efficacious, however sometimes as at Abu Klea even when shot at they still didn't run away. :D

A quick question... should I do a unit of four stands in red tunics? I wasn't going to, but the highlanders did look rather spiffing in theirs
Sometimes I wonder - why is that frisbee geting bigger - and then it hits me!

I just thought it might be one of those tricky names that are spelled one way and pronounced another. Honest, guv....  ;)

As this was the last campaign in which some British troops wore red it seems a shame not to have at least one unit in red.

So red it shall be.
There are some arguments that the red tunic wasn't really worn after the early days of the campaign. Giniss is always given as the last time red was worn.
who knows and who cares..says the rebellious streak in me :)

But it was worn. That's enough excuse. Especially if you also want to fight the Egyptian, Abyssinian, and Zulu wars.

Well after bemoaning the fact that I hate basing figures and how it was going to take ages. I got them done in record time tonight (well I put the sand on the bases) tomorrow night the pva wash and then the black undercoat the night after and then painting the bases... then I can paint the figures ...Huzzah!

My latest Pendraken parcel came on Saturday Camel corps, gatling guns assorted mounts and a lot of Mhadist cavalry. I got all excited the realised  I forgot the anglo Egyptian chappies to act as a Skirmish line....Leon prepare for another order in the starting of November.
