That's really nice....But I get the impression that the sculptor must have started at the top and then realized he hadn't got quite enough room at the bottom of the piece of ivory.
Hence the legs and feet being a tad on the small side ??
I do like the style tho'.

I do wish people would stop sentimentalising about elephants. Ivory is such a wonderful medium for carving!
