This is the initial list of Napoleonic British we've sent down to the designer for the Waterloo period.  Further down the line we'll do some conversions into the stovepipe for the earlier period, but we'll need to get some other Waterloo additions done first, to expand the French ranges and also add some Prussians.

Big thanks to WeeWars (Michael!) who has kindly agreed to help us out with the lists/scheduling the Nap ranges going forward.

I was thinking about that the other day actually, so I'll see if we can get it done soon.  Do you think it would be better with new crew as well?

Wow, Leon, really?   Not sure new crew are needed, I would have thought they could be crewed by some of the standard artillery figures.  But to get a model that looked the part would be amazing!

No worries, I'll pass that on to the designer now.

I don't think we'd get an extra sculpt done at this stage.  With my limited Naps knowledge, I remember that the Brits carried two standards, so we can always supply the extra figures for people who want them.  If there's a lot of demand, we could also add a separate pack of standards only, so 10 of them as a separate code?

What do people prefer?  A separate pack of them for those wanting more, or a permanent change to the composition of the usual command pack, so there's double the number of standards and less of the other figures?

I would replace one of the infantry figures in the pack for a standard  thats my preferrance

So you know in the Preferred Pose thread when I said I hated firing and kneeling figures? ...

I will need two standards per unit but would be happy with either solution

I do this for my SYW battalions and just specify the extra standard bearer with the order  ( when I remember!!)

Hussargeneral

Light Infantry
2 x Skirmishing (firing / other)
3 x Command advancing (Officer / Bugler / Standard)

I seem to recall reading that the light infantry regiments at Waterloo were still wearing the stovepipe shako.

Duke Speedy of Leighton

Two standards for Brits is a must.
The Light Infantry was still in stovepipes, as was at least one line unit (without my references to hand) I believe it was the 28th.

Small issue of standards too, Fighting 15s does beautiful 28/18/15mm, but not 10mm. Wonder if you could get some done Leon?

The Saff Essex are a must!

This range will also be great for the war of 1812. ;)
