Just an update on availability- I emailed Aqua Pacific and asked if they do "mail order" to regions where they have no retail outlets.

Vic has confirmed they are lightweight, so shipping the ships becomes a viable option both inside and outside the UK

Will keep forum posted.

Right campers, there is the G2 int.

Aqua do not do mail order. period.  A friendly bloke called Steve referred me to  info@fishpetsreptiles.co.uk   based in Ibstock , Leicestershire. UK
telephone 01530263746.

Alternatively - if you live in Oz, go to your local petshop.

They do, however, seem to only stock spares for filters, pumps, heaters and the like. Unless I'm missing a tab or option somewhere. Possible they can order stuff in though.

Yes, I could not find it on their site, so emailed them with the precise request.  The reply came in almost right away.  They have the item Code 36669 passenger ship wreck in stock.

Cost including UK postage is £11.49.   Vic (GOM) obviously got a good deal at £9 for two ships!

Well done, there may be a "summa cum laude" in this for you from St Scroungers College  :D.

Yes, I happened past the large chain Pet Shop as I was going to get a replacement micronuke cooking apparatus and, being in the habit of sticking my snout in dark and dank corners, I went inside and, lo and behold, there was a 50% off clearance sale on aquarium decorations!! It would have cost me about £18 normally. I just regret not getting the submarine wreck now, the holes could have been easily filled  :(.

There you go.  Two options;-

One.We can pay the whack in the UK

Two - relocate the entire Pendraken operation, designers and client base to Oz.

Seriously - In terms of value, the Pendraken corvette is £14, .But I must stress that the sculpt for a  fish tank decoration is way below what we expect in resin 1/150 models.

I buy the Model boat magazine

This months set of plans a 1/150th WW2 Monitor
last months was a RAF Tender

They always seem to have plans in each issue

Which is worse....Gales and rain, or the constant worry about being attacked by Drop Bears.  ;)

This is interesting.  1/150 scale is unusual scale.  Are the builds difficult?

I propose the United States as a compromise between UK and Oz.

I always thought that Oz was the compromise between UK and USA  :P :P :P, dropbears notwithstanding.

(Hint for US types - look at Blue Ribbon Pet Supplies, not many ships but lots of buildings and bridges. Available through http://www.lnt.com/ not all in stock but may be able to order, might try them out with International Checkout.

7" long bridge

pack of 7 x 5" long bridges

Possible HOTT stronghold, available either 4.25" or 10" wide
