Superb, one wonders what they were like when new? Were they painted and how vibrant they would have been.

Superb, one wonders what they were like when new? Were they painted and how vibrant they would have been.

The church has recently been restored, you can see some blocks of a different colour. I have seen no mention of the reliefs being painted. I've seen some pictures of murals inside which are not in good condition.
