Good pal of mine, Angus Konstam, who mocks my narrow gaming interests (they begin in 1866 and end at Sedan in 1870) phoned me up the other night. "Must come round to the club on Thursday old man, doing a Schlezwig Holstein game, Danes, Prussians and of course your beloved Austrians".
Well I haven't been to the club for ages, I do the late night surgery on Thursday at the other end of town, however I wasn't going to miss this. My mind teemed with images of thousands of tiny figures a-la Bruce Weigle, storming the lines at Duppel or similar. I could hardly wait, imagine my surprise when I poked my hear round the door to be greeted by a gale of laughter and pointing of fingers.

Haven't been to the club in years, nice to see a few names and faces I recognise. I have fond memories of Bill's 6mm Napoleonic rules.

Looks like a fun game.

Sometimes being out of your comfort zone can be a rewarding experience. Might even spark the old imagination. Even if it doesn't, the game looks excellent.
