Pendraken are better; I use I.M., but they're much more expensive and often a bit clumsy. I'm very satisfied with the overall look of my Cossack army.

54!!!  No wonder you were finding it fiddly ;)

54 figures would make 18 Husar bases, which is more than the current lists allow. Or (since you're using 10mm) are you putting more on a base than the standard 3 of BFaS?
Water is indeed the essential ingredient of life, because without water you can't make coffee!

sakura

good point about numbers
i am using fire and sword as a guide but in 10mm i am sure the numbers can be adjusted
i am thinking imperialist as an enemy which isnt really an option but do like the new ecw cavalry
have 60 pancerni 21 cossacks and 120 infantry thus far as well as 30 cassacks
need to get guns i guess
command doesnt have syandard bearers tho

sakura

cossacks although cassacks would be appropriate !!

There was a brief war between Poland and the Empire, the War of the Polish Succession. It lasted about a week, with only a few thousand participants, but it did happen, and that's good enough excuse for a game!
