I´ve finally decided to paint my Ralgard fleet (now that Spartan Games has discontinued Uncharted Seas range...) Here is what I have for now:

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

On another topic, I'm planning to base my WWII tanks on clear acrylics bases.
I didn't based them so far for one reason : I found they look better on the terrain without.
BUT you have to touch them with the "greasy" fingers and infantry look a bit tall on their bases when put aside a tank. And basing could forbid the players to put their tanks too close from each other.
Anyone has based tanks this way ?

Barbarian, I won´t do that... Ships are placed over a plain surface (sea table), but wwII landscape is not. It also depends on the scale: I won´t use a base on a 28mm tank, but if you want to, just use the same base decoration as your infantry.
