British airborne jeeps.

Just a little question, I have some br 19 jeeps in my collection.

These have the regular british infantry helmets. I am however putting togheter an order for my airborne guys, and would like to put some jeeps in there too. (to tow the pack howitzers  )

Now there are airborne jeeps (br 121), but those are the ones with th mg's and gunners on, correct?

So i'm thinking of using BR140 jeep with raised windscreen and tilt.

Anyone have pictures of these? I want to know if they are the regular jeep (with cast in infantryman or a complete enclosed model.

Also are there any other options for airborne apart from jeeps and carriers? Don't know if they dropped something else by glider, maybe a tetrarch

Cannot comment on the models as don't have them but Airborne jeeps had the windscreen removed so BR140 not suitable

Tetrarchs were dropped by glider in Normandy and the Locust was used during the Rhine Crossing. 17pdrs were towed by cut down Morris C8 and later the Dodge weapons carrier

I already included the airborne jeep with vickers, but should i want to use it as a tow vehicle, can i leave the mg of or is it cast on?

its separate, until Pendraken have a transport, see my post in non-pendraken this may fit the bill.

could always get one of the sculptors to have a go

But if ithe mg is separate i think i'll just get two more of the airborne jeeps and use those. Easier to get everything from the same source
