pendraken ratmen range, need info and identification

Hi,


I'm currently building my pendraken shopping list, but I'm not sure about a few references.

Since I want to build a regular troopers unit and elite units, I'd like to know the diferences  between FR1 "Large with polearm" and FR22 "Large armoured with polearm".   

I found a picture of polearm soldiers (I think) :

but I don't know the exact reference of the ratmen on this picture : are they  FR1 or FR22 ?  I would say it's FR1 (regular unarmoured troop) but I'm not sure.



Same question about "FR2 Large with sword"  and "FR21 Large with sword and shield" : What are the diferences  ?

Not easy answer this time, since I found infos saying they were FR2...But the minis obviously have shields. So how is the FR21 ?



Finally, I also didn't find any pics of FR23 "large slingers". I'd like to make some harassing units, and I'm hesitating with blunderbus troops instead. But I'd like to know how the  slingers minis are first.  But in the worst case, I'll just order the blunderbus and use them for this purpose.




The questions about melee soldiers are more important, in fact, I canno't finish my list and make my order Smiley I know, the easy answer would be "buy all the refs and found the answer yourself

Those ones are FR2, with the face shields.  The FR21 codes has a square shield and the sword held upright.

The slinger figure is standing with the sling in motion above his shoulder.  It's not the best pose, and you could easily paint them as swords and they would look fine.

Sorry to resurrect this post very much from the dead, but are these figures still in production? I'd love to get some ratmen at this scale as they appear (to me) as the best available.

The old figures are kinda available...  The moulds are very old so some of them aren't producing great quality castings anymore unfortunately.  If you know which codes/poses you'd be interested in I can ask the casting guys to do some test spins and have a look?
