Say, do the hexes (and hexagonal cardboard pieces underneath the buildings) mean that you actually use the hexes to determine movement and firing ranges and such? If so, I would be very interested to know how that works within BP. If not, I would like to know if and how the troops in your set-up can occupy buildings or towns?

No, we used rules.  My host, who supplied the board, is working on a hex version of BKC that actually works quite well.

how did you find the rules worked with 10mm ?

Very well indeed.  We used centimeters (those are 30mm bases and the hexes are 10cm).  At 24 infantry to the unit, I think it gives a far better look than 12 or so figures n the same bases at 15mm.

The rules are fast and furious, and a lot of units is a good idea - at about 5 $CAD a unit you can afford them at 10mm.  I plan to expand my forces, although there is nothing wrong with 2 people being able to play 2 games in the course of a reasonable day.
