If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I do like Tony Barton's figures. :)
I think he's one of the top 20mm designers...If not the best.
Cheers - Phil.

His 10mm weren't as good as some other people can do ;)

Actually I'm pretty sure Alan Marsh did the 10mm stuff

and I've been seriously impressed with all that I've seen in the flesh, the pics on their site don't do them justice
my hobby/painting blog: full of 6mm goodness coming soon, 10mm goodness too!

Home of Epic: Armageddon on the web! It's still very much alive!

my tale of epic gamers 2013 log, contains lots of yellow marines :)

As a predominantly fantasy gamer, I love their 10mm but the range is just odd: seriously eclectic.  Wish they developed an army at a time.  Great sculpting though  :)

Some of the early WI's I have I am sure mention's  Tony Bartons new range of 10mm  though I  would need to check

Think that was back when AB were marketed by Wargames South who did quite a few ranges of 10mm not just WWII as they do now. Pretty sure they were not sculpted by tony though. Pendraken picked up some of the Wargames South ranges when they sold them off to concetrate on WWII but are no longer part of the Pendraken catalogue either.

true, although they've got almost complete ranges of beastmen, wood elves and chaos dwarfs which are ideal for warmaster.... I have plans in those directions

Yeah, had a look this morning.  Love the wood elves: I'm up to my ears (horns?) in beastmen anyway.

That is why I love Pendraken and this forum: it isn't limited to THEIR stuff.  And that is why we stick with em: take note GW  :-\

I think the WGS old HYW range is now with Hinchcliffe

Looks like they have the ACW range too (well as far as I can tell as all but one of the ACW pic links are actually Ancients figures  ???)

Fenton

I noticed...I wonder what happened to the WGS Franco-Prussian stuff
