When the bit I lost on the ground is tiny, I just let him be with his new life on the ground if I don't find him after 30 secondes.
Quicker to redo it than to search it.

Agreed.....If it's a tiny piece..
Like you say B....If you can't find it quickly...Give up and re-do.
This little chap was finished, and I didn't really want to do him all over again from scratch !! ;D ;D ;D

Once had a small record case containing my entire collection of 1:3000th WW2 Pacific fleets undo half-way up the stairs of a moving double-decker bus. Had the combined US and Japanese navies tumbling down the stairs. Luckily the little devils are easy to spot and I got them all back. One or two needed re-painting though.  :'( :'( :'(
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Not a miniatures disaster as such

Once while driving from Ieper to Bayeux me and the wife stopped at a french garage as we needed something from the suitcase, I nipped round the back and got what was needed ( cant remember now) got back in the car and set off

About 2 hours later we pulled into the Lion D'Or car park and 2 porters came and asked if they could help, me being me said "No No I can manage", swung the suitcase out of the boot and watched all my wife's knickers, bras and feminine hygiene products scattering over a wide area of the car park

Needless to say I wasn't Mr popular at this point

Thankfully It was soon forgiven some hours later when she saw the Bayeux tapestry for the first time
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

We had a Vietnam army pack that broke in the Pendraken van about 2 years ago now, and we're still finding the odd figure every now and then.
Was that not on the news recently.....?  :P
