Yes there is a message to that effect on the website.

Not sure that the company is bust. I know they were selling off various subsidiaries a while back prior to retiring. I'd be surprised if someone didn't buy up the moulds.

They have called in the administrators no doubt about that

Wargame ranges have been up for sale for about 2 years but only a handful bought so far (seems they were asking quite high prices

I got my first micro armour from them. Guess what I bought?

Some of the early Skytrex stuff it could have been anything

H&R bought the micro armour ranges so they are safe (ish) dependant on if they decide to keep duplicate items in the catalogue. Was dubious about 3 1/300 ranges (H&R, Armstrong & Davco) being consolidated in to a single company but suppose that's a better option than one disappearing entirely.

My 1:200 came from them in 2001 or 2002.  The infantry are just about ok with 10mm, but the vehicles are too small.  Much prefer the Pendraken. Sunjester and I have a theory that Skytrex is probably Scale infantry, where as Pendraken are 'chubby', but the Pendraken looks much better- wish I'd found it first.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

A Real shame as they have been doing a lot in model railways market in last few years as it was a bigger hobby

Also their range of 1/1200 C19th naval stuff was excellent - the Warrior and Gloire being especially fine

I think all the 1/2000th stuff went to red eagle

Red Eagle bought the 1/144 aircraft & 1/1200 Triton Napoleonic & Transitional ranges

Leon

Yep, Red Eagle have got the 1:1200th ships as well now.  A lot of the ranges were very highly priced though, so I think they've had some difficulty selling them.  The administration info shows some interesting titbits, like £170k of stock holding, including 25,000 sheets of decals!  That's a lot of stock to be carrying on their turnover.

Last Hussar

Leon's got £170 - mostly Jiffy Bags and Smoggycon fliers
