Right ...

It is known across all the lands where man has learned the noble arts of the table-game that the Dark One is all powerful. He sits on a dread throne made from the discarded masters and moulds that found no favour in him, upon a pile of bones made from the sculptors who displeased him. His is the power to release new Pendraken goodliness to the world, examining each offering brought to him by quaking sculptor-dwarves before either nodding his gigantic head which the wretched artisan understands is not only approval of the product, but also continuation of existence, or frowning his displeasure in which case the doomed dwarf is cast into the endless stream of molten metal that flows beneath the casting-throne.

All this is well known. All of us (the spear carriers on the Pendraken stage) know the tales of the Dark Lord and his naked goings-on with left to his own devices, and the fear that he inspires in his malformed minions. However, what is not known is that the Dark Lord bows before one even more powerful. He is known to the select few who have studied the blood-runes carved with extreme precision upon the toilet walls of the Pendraken foundry-dungeon. Those who have cogitated these runes can never tell the full story of the magnificence of he who is known only at the Darker (And Very Experienced) Lord.

It is said that the Darker Lord has known and forgotten ancient and mystic arts that the Dark Lord has never even heard whisper of. The Darker Lord is skilled in all the Pendraken arts, and can sculpt so beautifully that those who see his work can do naught but weep at the beauty, he can cast with a precision that no mortal can reproduce, and with a speed that no mortal eye can catch. He is immune to burns from any liquid metals, and has been known to bathe in molten silver. The Darker Lord is all-knowing: he knows his Assyrian from his Longbow, his knowledge of all things martial is unparalled in all the scales. He even knows about the periods that have not been, nor shall ever be, but will be popular next year.

It is said that the Darker Lord was the fouder of the Evil Empire, and that for many years he sat in uncomfortable power there until he looked one day over acres of his works in uniform ranks and ungainly poses, and he knew that his work was corrupt and impure. Before he permitted the sun to set that day, the Darker Lord had turned his back on his creation and turned his face to the true scale. Of course, the Evil Empire still exists, but it is a body without a brain. The sculpt-gnomes there go through the motions and still produce much, but without the Darker Lord to direct them, their work is foul and lifeless.

But amongst the select few who know the tuth of the Darker Lord, the most significant features of the Darker Lord are his compassion, and his love for post-war British armour. The Darker Lord would not abide the agonising waits that the Dark Lord foists upon we wretches (the grit in the Pendraken budgie-cage). The Darker Lord belies his name with his sweet disposition to those who have shown patience in their vigils, and especially to those who have shown a true love of armoured vehicles who may be (accidentally or deliberately) confused with a much older, low level officer class.

So today I sing hymns of praise to the Darker Lord, I chant paeans of hope to his saturnine majesty and I recite lyric poems celebrating his aphotic greatness. If he should see to recognise my efforts with some small reward then I, unworthy that I am, would be uplifted by his munificence.

Personally, I think in the unlikely event a Centurion tank is ever produced, that it should only be available as a part work.  Each month you get a piece of a tank and a fascinating 20 page magazine.  Part One is Commanders Vision block and FREE firing button.  Look out for part 2 (3rd left hand road wheel) and 3 (Gun mantle)
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Now there's a cracking idea!  There's enough parts across the various marks, so we could get at least a years worth out of it!

Or more seriously, we could release one mark per day for x number of days?

I've have long realised that you (the arrows in the Pendraken quiver) are an inventive and creative lot.

I didn't realise how much this creativity could be turned to the Dark Side.

I think that's a brilliant idea too....And lets face it....Lots of those part work mags fold without trace after a handful of issues. :P

Thats brilliant I would love to see FSNs face after he has collected 15 issues of "Pendraken Tank collectors monthly"   and they stop producing it when he has only the turret to collect. :)

Biscuit...  Bourbons...  Garibaldis...

Hmmmm....

Yes, a Risorgimento range is far more important than post war armour.

Leon, prioritise this over the Centurions.

Oh for goodness sake!

Surely there's someone else out there who wants a Centurion?

On second thoughts. Don't answer that.
