Ok, first up, i was with the little one in a toy shop today, as it has been his birthday and he had some funds he got that he could use to buy 'what he really wanted". While he was choosing out of the endless supply of trains cars and little motorbikes  =) , i got bored and wandered off. I came upon a revell tiger E in 1/72 scale, and just took it with me. Now i have some 1/72 stuff, that i could use for skirmishing and the like, but to be honest, i probably will never use it  ;D

So this got me thinking, How many different scales do you guys use for the SAME conflict?

The best example i can think of are my jagdpanthers, i have one from pendraken, one in 1/72 and one in 1/16 (wich is an RC one wich shoots bb's and is frikking awesome!)

I try to stick to a single scale as much as possible as it helps with terriain etc, but am not always successfull.  Most periods I try to keep in a single scale at least per theatre.  The worst one for me is Fantasy I have this in 6mm, 10mm, 15mm and 28mm

Well this was my reasoning too, that's why i wanted to play USE ME WW2 in 10 mm too. I have however ordered A british and a german infantry pack from pithead for these instead of my regular troop from pendraken, just to give me something different. I was looking at doing the skirmish in a bigger scale (1/72) as i had a crapload of infantry lying around from when i just did the modelling in that era, but then i thought, as i have so many tanks and vehicles in 10 mm already i might as well use those!

But things went AWOL recently as i ordered about40 vehicles, two planes and 6-7 buildings from pendraken last week, built and painted a 1/72 AA truck from hasegawa recently and now bought that tiger  :D

Guess i should be a bit more selective but hey, that's what you get with impulse buys  ;D ;D

For the same conflict, mine would be sci-fi: 3mm, 6mm, 10mm, 28mm & 54mm

Hmmm seems i'm not that bad after all with my 2 scales  :-\ :-\

I have things in 10, 20 and 28 and somewhat overlapping as to colonials in 28/10 mm and VBCW in 28/20 mm. Still not played a game though.  :o

I have binned my 54mm, 25mm, 20mm, 15mm and 6mm in order to keep with the one true scale as demanded by the Dark One who rules our lives with a firm but benevolent hand.
