Hey all!

Me and the missus went to the market today, she was checking out clothes on the stands (we all know how long that takes ;D ) , when i noticed a man selling sheets and pillows. Nothing better to do i checked out his stand (probably out off pure boredom :p ), when my eye caught a heap of fleece throws om the end of the table. Upon closer inspection i found a nice green one, and at 10€ (about 8,5£ ) i finally got myself a nice and cheap 'battlemat'  :D

And of course in true wargamer fashion, i just emptied the cupboards to get a feel of my new battlefield :p , and what beter to use than my pendraken ww2!! (the roads are still a bit curled, but the y have been stored way too long :p

first up one with flash:

Ithoriel

a) Works for me - well spotted

b) Nice work on the figures. I'm finally painting again after a break of about 8 years and am painting Pendraken WW2 a little inspiration is never a bad thing.

Painting German armour at the moment, infantry and guns to follow then on to the Russians. Planning to have some Partisans and NKVD eventually as well as army.

It's slow going at the moment (partly because so many of my paints have dried up :( ) as I rediscover painting techniques I've all but forgotten.

Must add some paints to the growing list of things I hope to pick up at Claymore.

I have put my german armour aside for the moment. My gaming buddy has a full german army, so i figured it would be wier to do the russians first, gives us more options  :D

Got the tee-shirt myself 'I'.....But I've got some of the Vallejo paints from Leon now, and I think they're rather spiffy.

Yeah they look really nice, and at that price.....

Great buy!

If anyone in London is looking for similar, Southall high street has an abundance of shops and market stalls selling these for between 10-15 quid, you might need to sift through a host of horrible patterns but they're in there.
Were I a gamer, I'd definitely invest.

Cheers
