Hi all,

If this topic is open elsewhere please let me know.  I thought it would be useful to have somewhere folks could ask the wider community to locate resources.

So...

Anyone know where I can get decent sized pyramids in resin or similar?

Cheers,

Gareth

Garden centre fish tank sections often contain hidden gems.

Unfortunately pyramid models don't sell pyramids! http://www.pyramidmodels.com/shop/

Hi Lemmey,

Yeah, I fell for the Pyramid Models one already  ;D

I know I COULD make them Ian but I don't like the feel or look of card buildings and, truth be told, I'm a pretty decent painter but a DREADFUL modeler.

Thanks for the replies guys

Fenton

Have you tried new age shops or charity shops selling things like healing pyramids etc
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Techno

Hovels Resin ?
There's a pic of a 1:200 one in google images if you type in resin pyramids.
Can't find it on the Hovels site though. :-\

How about the Early learning centre for wooden blocks they might do a pyramid shaped one you could convert a bit

Oh dear lord,

I thought us gamers were a bit weird...type in wooden pyramids to google and you'll find we're comparatively normal.  Comparatively  ;D

Badda bing,

Thanks Fenton.  Saw this one years ago but never managed to find it since.  What an efficient little forum this is.

Thanks one and all  =D>

Museum gift shops are a good (if often expensive) source of pyramids, sphinxes, obelisks and seated pharoah statues.

I'll second charity shops as a source of all sorts of cheap scenery for games.

Hovels have standing and fallen obelisk and a sphinx as well as the pyramid iirc.

Yeah, thanks Ithoriel: checked out Hovels this morning and placed an order.  Hadn't thought about charity shops though.  Cheers  :)
