Hi all,
Just joined the forum and wondered if anyones intrested in asking Pendraken to expand the NAM range.
I have just purchased the Tour of Duty Flames of war book, but to keep erxpenditure down thought 10mm instead of 15mm, was thinking about things like M113 FSV, Centurion tank and maybe some rocket pods and grenade launcher to attach to a huey to turn it into a gunship, as an add on pack.
Especially when I am having trouble finding Australian bits.
Leon did inform me one person was thinking of designing some M113 varients at some point. :D

Well chaps having loads of fun!!!

Fire support base is built, Got some sand coloured cloth from Market for the overall base colour of game board.
Jungles getting done along with Road and river sections the Village is complete with home made hooches (a good tip if you wanna make thatched roofs in 10MM scale use a face cloch cut into chunks stick down with pva)
first Aussie platoons done in M113's just 2nd helibourne one to go. OOOHHH No so many NVA whoe is me!!!  :'(
Still got rice paddies and hills to build. For the game board I'm using a paste table to fold away in a corner and a set of plastic drawers to stash the terrain in.
( Got the lay out of the fire support base from an OSPREY book fire support bases 1969-1972) It is a print to order book. Waterstones were kind enough to get me a copy. :D
Incase anyone else is intrested.

I've built Rorke's drift in 10mm over the last couple of days but daren't show it on the forum without a suitable thatch, would be nice to see an example before I go the teddy fur route (which ain't great)
Feel free to test on your own projects for me :D

What size bases?
Are you going with the normal FOW basing or are you scaling it down?

+1 for the Huey gunships, both Hogs and Frogs please.
Love the Centurion

@ Hoagie - I'm playing the Tour of Duty rules with 10mm but I'm keeping base sizes the same otherwise unpleasant things could happen with the artillery templates and its all round too much work to resize it.  #-o

Don't forget Timecast for all your building and fortification needs...  :P

I would go 10mm, but I have 15mm from 20 year ago!
